Kiddo Krafts: Fall Handprint Trees and Leaves

I could really get used to this SAHM thing. {I think I already am}

If I had to pinpoint one area where I was lacking as a working mom, I would have to say it was in the arts and crafts department.  I had the desire to do more artsy things with Brody, but I never seemed to find the time. 

Now I have the time. *Cue the huge sigh of relief*

Last night, I decided I wanted to create something Fall-ish with his tiny big boy handprints.  So I searched online and found some inspiration on Amanda's blog, Handprint and Footprint Art.

Today, Brody and I headed out to JoAnn's today to pick up some craft supplies.  We came home with a lot of paint and two blank canvasas.  Here is our creation...

I decided to display Brody's artwork next to his fabric silhouette that I recently made.  I'm kinda lovin' it. But maybe it's just because I am biased to those precious little hands.
